Mingo Moran grew up in the modern-day high plains desert of the Wild West. He grew up tough in a cold, severe environment. The place he came from had great beauty, but at times unforgiving elements of weather and distance.

His love of mechanics, process perfection, and acceleration drew him to anything with an engine and a way to steer. He started at the bottom of the world of mechanics and ended up not only a Master Mechanic but a global leader of a team of experts (The Best of the Best) implementing innovative Equipment Product Support.

This book was written in many airports, hotels, and other countries while traveling the world. He found the world very interesting and gained an understanding that at the worker level, people are people—most of them kind, smart, and helpful. But his Wild West upbringing kept him keen to the ones that were evil and criminal.
